What Happens at Your Consultation
Your free consultation includes a comprehensive orthodontic evaluation. In about 60 minutes, your orthodontist will:
Evaluate your bite and alignment
A thorough clinical exam of your teeth, jaws and bite.
Take diagnostic imaging
Digital X-rays and photos to identify anything not visible during the clinical exam.
Explain your options
Your orthodontist will walk you through their findings and recommend the treatment that best supports your long-term results.
Review cost and insurance
Your Treatment Coordinator will provide a clear cost breakdown, verify your insurance benefits and walk you through payment options.

Schedule an evaluation for your child. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first visit by age seven. We often see children even earlier.

Is the consultation really free?
Yes. There is no cost and no obligation. The consultation is an opportunity for you to meet your orthodontist, understand your options and decide if treatment is right for you.
How long does the consultation take?
Yes, adults can absolutely get braces, and about 25% of orthodontic patients are adults, with no upper age limit as long as gums and bone structure are healthy. Common options include traditional metal, ceramic, lingual braces, and clear aligners (e.g., Invisalign). Treatment typically takes 18–26 months, but corrects bite issues and improves oral health.
What should I bring?
Bring your insurance card if you have orthodontic coverage. Otherwise, just bring your questions. We handle the rest.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can schedule directly with our office. No referral from a dentist is needed.
Can I bring family members?
Absolutely. We are happy to evaluate multiple family members during the same visit. Just let us know when you schedule.
